Faces and Voices of Recovery

Faces & Voices of Recovery is a national nonprofit organization working to mobilize, organize and rally the over 23 million Americans in recovery from addiction to alcohol and other drugs, their families, friends and allies in a campaign to end discrimination; broaden social understanding; and achieve a just response to addiction as a public health crisis.

Faces & Voices of Recovery is the voice of the organized addiction recovery community. The organization believes that our nation’s response to the crisis of addiction should be based on sound public health science and the grassroots engagement and involvement of the recovery community – people in recovery, their families, friends and allies – organized in identifiable and mobilized networks of recovery community and allied organizations that foster collaboration, advocacy and public education about the reality of addiction recovery.

With over 40,000 individual members and 90 Association of Recovery Community Organization members, Faces & Voices works to improve the lives of the 43 million Americans affected by alcohol and other drugs, their families and communities.
